Nature of the Resource

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It does not store official custody or court records. Staff cannot confirm whether someone is held or released, order a release, change a sentence, file a court paper, or correct an agency database.

Links point toward Hardin County Detention Center, Kentucky Department of Corrections, VINE, court, federal, immigration, and other official resources. Some features also connect visitors with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must be lawful, respectful, and consistent with these terms. You agree that you will not:

• Break a law or assist another person in doing so.
• Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone.
• Use site content in a hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other eligibility decision.
• Attempt to enter accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
• Run automated bots, scrapers, or bulk collection tools.
• Damage, overload, or disrupt access for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

Hardin County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not offer background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You may not use information found here or through linked tools for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions.
• Tenant selection, leases, or other housing screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility.
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Websites

Links may lead to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, and third-party search providers. Those services control their own content, uptime, prices, and data practices. A link is not an endorsement. Review the destination’s terms and privacy policy before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

• Information is accurate, complete, or current.
• Access will always be available or uninterrupted.
• The service is free of errors, bugs, or security weaknesses.
• A partner search will return complete or relevant results.

Custody and court records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by Hardin County, a sheriff, a jail, KDOC, or another public agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, its owners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its owners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use, misuse, or breach of these terms.

Content Ownership

Original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Hardin County Released Inmates or its content partners unless stated otherwise. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or commercially exploit them without written permission.

Updates to These Terms

These conditions may be revised at any time. A revision becomes effective when posted here. Continued use after publication means you accept the updated terms.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any lawful reason, without advance notice.

Kentucky Law Controls

These terms are governed by Kentucky law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.

Severability

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be adjusted only as much as needed. Every other provision remains effective.
